Chalean Extreme is built upon a patented technique called “lean phasing” that combines the fat burning benefits of cardio with the muscle-building metabolism boosting effects of resistance training. You will enjoy the increased fat-burning effects that muscles natural provide.
The Chalean Extreme program is broken up into three separate 30-day phases. Each phase will have 3 unique workouts as well as some common workouts that you will exercise to throughout the program. These common workouts come in two difficulties. During the first 6 weeks, you will start off with a medium difficulty. When you reach the middle of the program, you will switch to the extreme version of the workouts
The Phases
Phase 1 - Burn
The Burn phase has a strong focus on lifting hand weights and cardio, and is considered by many to be the toughest phase of the Chalean Extreme program. These muscle building exercises will melt your fat and reveal your curves. Just remember that muscle is heavier than fat, so your weight will probably not drop as quickly as you would like. However, you will shed inches which is much more satisfying.

Phase 2 - Push
Once again, you will use weight training to build muscles to burn the fat. This time you will lift heavier weights with lower reps. Do not worry ladies. You will become toned not bulky. Halfway into push is halfway into Chalean Extreme. This marks not only a great accomplishment, but also the point when your workouts will step up to a higher level of difficulty.
Phase 3 - Lean
You will move back to the higher rep lower weight workouts. Of course, like always, there will be a heavy infusion of cardio to balance out the weights. These exercises will be focused on both your upper and lower body, so that you will develop your core. Many people find that the Lean phase is where they lose the most weight. Do not let that tempt you into skipping to this phase. It is very important to build your body up with the first two phases, so that you can get they most out of this one. Each phase is absolutely necessary.

Chalean Extreme Success Story – Valerie Stavinoha (Age 44)
Valerie was once in very good shape. She was a regular participant in ½ marathons and 10K’s. When she wasn’t running she was lifting weights. Additionally, the results come from progressive overload which is achieved through adding resistance rather than changing the structure of the workouts.
Another notable difference is that your diet is not as detailed or as emphasized as P90X. ChaLEAN Extreme simply emphasizes making smart food choices, rather than creating a specific nutrition plan to follow day by day.
